Each year, high school students in Art 1 participate in a group drawing project. After dividing into groups, each group selected a black and white photo to reproduce on a larger scale. Each photo was cut into small squares and each group member had to draw 3 of the squares on 3 separate 12" x 12" sheets of drawing paper. When they finished, they put all of their squares together to recreate the photo now enlarged, kind of like putting together puzzle pieces. They had to work together to match up lines, and shapes, and shading along the edges of the papers. Enjoy seeing their finished projects!
