High School Art I - Value Scale Tape Paintings

Students in Art 1 enjoyed creating a fun design with painter's tape on their canvas boards for this project. Then using acrylic paint, their assignment was to cover their boards with different values of one color. When their project was dry they peeled the painter's tape off. Middle School Art - Illuminated Letters

 In Middle School Art this year we are being inspired by different countries for our art projects. This one was inspired by the Celtic Illuminated Texts from the Middle Ages in the areas of Ireland, Scotland, and Great Britain. Each student chose a letter of their own interest to illuminate and they could use any art media for their project. We hope these illuminated letters will brighten your day!
