Middle School Art - Kente Cloth

The country of Ghana on the continent of Africa is known for the beautiful colorful fabrics worn by the people there. Middle School Art students got to hear the legend of how Kente cloth was thought to have been inspired by an amazing spider weaver. Then they created their own woven and colorful patterns using colored paper and yarn, embellishing with geometric designs using a black marker. Aren't they gorgeous?
