Middle School - Pen & Ink Drawings

Middle School Art Students recently finished their "trip around the world" looking at art and creativity in different cultures. For their final project students got to draw a picture where they are looking through something at a scene. Some of the "views" they drew are looking through keyholes, open windows, cell phone screens, glasses, etc. Before they began their drawings, we learned about shading techniques when using ink pens. They are stippling (using dots); hatching, cross-hatching, and contour-hatching (using lines); and scumbling (using scribbles). Enjoy their drawings with a view!
