HS Advanced Art Random Act of Kindness Project

Our next project got us thinking how we could encourage and bless someone else with our artwork. We watched a short video on The Science of Kindness...
and then High School Art Students created mini works of art to leave either in a random place for someone to find or to specifically give to someone they know. They also wrote a note of encouragement on the back. Here are their masterpieces. Wouldn't you like to find something like this in a random place or receive it from a creative friend? HS Advanced Art Portfolios

Art Classes have gotten off to a great start and one of our first projects was to create student portfolios to hold this year's artwork in the classroom. Students folded their poster boards in half and stapled the side edges. Finally, for fun, they decorated at least one side. A few decorated both sides if they had the time. (Click on each photo to see more closely.)

HS Art I Random Acts of Kindness Project

Our next project got us thinking how we could encourage and bless someone else with our artwork. We watched a short video on The Science of Kindness...
and then High School Art Students created mini works of art to leave either in a random place for someone to find or to specifically give to someone they know. They also wrote a note of encouragement on the back. If they had time some of the students created two artworks. Here are their masterpieces. Wouldn't you like to find something like this in a random place or receive it from a creative friend? (Click on each photo to see more closely.)
