Grace Prep Art Classes always begin the school year with a First Day Collaborative Project to get our "creative juices" flowing. This year's project is inspired by our September Artist of the Month, Wassily Kandinsky, who is known for his "Squares with Concentric Circles". Students learned what "Concentric" means which is "to share the same center" and also what "Collaborate" means... "to work together". Each student created their own design on their individual square and then added it to the display. Even Mrs. Hopkins added a few to complete full 60 spaces.
