HS Advanced Art - Quick Spaceship Drawing

By Hayden T.

Students in High School Advanced Art recently took their end of the First Quarter Celebration of Learning. For a Bonus question, students were asked to draw "the greatest spacecraft ever to spring forth from the imagination of a human being." Here's what they came up with in about 10 minutes. Aren't they awesome? (Click on each photo to see more closely.)

Tori P., Faith P., and Maggie L.

Students in the High School Advanced Art class enjoyed creating some creative photos for this assignment. First we learned some picture taking terminology and cell phone photo tips and then students created some Forced Perspective Photos as well as Photos of them interacting with a Cartoon, Movie, or Video Game Character. Aren't they fun? (Click on each photo to see more closely.)

HS Art 1 - Color/Balance Designs

By Miranda L.
Students in the High School Art 1 classes have been creating some fun eye-popping designs! After learning about Balance in artwork and also some Color Theory, they created symmetrically, asymmetrically, or radially balanced designs and then painted each section with a different color scheme (monochromatic, cool colors, warm colors, and complementary colors). Enjoy! (Click on each photo to see more closely.)
