Middle School Art - Northern Lights Watercolor

 In Middle School Art we just completed an art project inspired by the auroras we see at the north and south poles. Students created a watercolor northern lights sky and then added a landscape silhouette with black marker or paint after the sky was dry. Aren't they beautiful?

Tuesday/Thursday Art Classes - Half and Half Sketchbook Entry

Hello Friends and Family of Grace Prep! Although my students do a weekly sketchbook assignment I wanted to share this particular sketchbook entry as they came up with some really fun ideas. Their assignment was to create something fictional that was half mechanical and half something from nature and then color and shade with colored pencils. Enjoy their fabulous creations!
