The latest country we "stopped at" in Middle School Art is Mexico. Students saw examples of the festive and colorful tin art called Hojalata that can be found in Mexican markets and is used as both functional and decorative art in their homes. We used extra heavy duty aluminum foil and acrylic paint to create our own version. Their creations are muy bien!
