Students in High School Art II and III had a review on drawing with linear perspective and then had the assignment of creating their own work of art using linear perspective. They could do a landscape, cityscape, or the view inside a room.

I was inspired to draw Downton Abbey because I love Downton Abbey. All I could think of when I thought of a perspective drawing was this establishing shot of the Abbey during scene changes. I wanted to do something big for my final project.

I had a lot of fun trying a new art media for this project. I also enjoyed working with color.

I drew this because I like drawing buildings and I liked keeping it black and white because it was simple and cool.

For this project I wanted to do a landscape with a road coming in from the distance. I thought it would be cool if I did a more sketchy outline with a Sharpie, too. The colors I picked are more vibrant to give the picture some brightness.

This is definitely one of the best work of art I have done. I have never done anything similar to this one point perspective and I am really proud of myself. This artwork is definitely a keeper.

This art represents how quickly life changes by showing the past alongside its future.

My one-point perspective is very colorful and fun. My artwork is a little town with a park next to it. I used pencil, watercolors, and colored pencils to color and draw. This piece helped me learn more about how to use watercolors. The finished results aren't what I imagined but it still looks good and I still love it!

There's no rhyme or reason for the way I did it but I like the way it comes out. The land in the piece is nice and seems quiet and nice.

I chose to draw a sheet with linear perspective, I used colors to make it look like the nighttime.

For my linear perspective project I drew a house, tree, and a road. Behind them is a field. Colors used are yellow, blue, brown, tan, grey, and white.
