Middle School Art - Paper Mache Masks

By Brody M.

Our last Element of Art to learn about was Form which is used in the Art world for 3-dimensional artworks. For our project, students used CelluClay, which is a kind of paper mâché clay, to add interest to their mask forms. They then painted them with acrylic paints and added final embellishments if they wanted (like feathers, sequins, lace, pipe cleaners, etc.). I think they really enjoyed this project. Have fun checking out what they created!
